August 25th marks the 12th anniversary of ZONHON BIOPHARMA INSTITUTE, INC. “2023 ZONHONBIO and GENSUNBIO Research and Development Achievement Reporting Session and annual Mid-term Evaluation of R&D Departments” was successfully conducted on August 23th, 2023. All the staff gathered to celebrate the company's birthday in the form of academic exchange. The senior leaders of the department in charge of Qianhong and colleagues also attended the meeting.

The first item on the agenda of the meeting was President Bruce Yong Ma's speech and the 2024 annual commendation. President Ma paid the highest tribute to the leaders and peers of the ZONHONBIO and GENSUNBIO for their long-term interest in guiding them. He also expressed his sincerest gratitude to all the employees of ZONHONBIO and GENSUNBIO for their company over the years. Since the company was founded 12 years ago, it has always been committed to addressing clinically unmet clinical needs, and has always adhered to the characteristic innovation. In the face of the great powers game science and technology war intensified, the turbulent changes in the world show new characteristics and trends, firmly walk their own way to do their own thing, to adapt to change strategy to maintain strategic focus, will be a long-term healthy growth of the company's way of survival. In the past year, we have established a diversified product pipeline in the fields of central nervous system drugs, cardio-cerebral, pulmonary and vascular drugs, new targeted anticancer drugs and anti-allergy drugs, and have successively completed the domestic and international IND applications of a number of new drug projects. At the same time, we are committed to building a clinical medical research platform with ZONHONBIO's characteristics and promoting the smooth implementation of ZONHONBIO's clinical research projects. President Ma put forward “self-discipline, self-improvement and self-confidence” as the key words for 2023, encouraging everyone to consistently practice the cultivation of core competitiveness, deep plowing characteristics of the innovation source of the essence of corporate culture, and calling on all the people of ZONHONBIO and GENSUNSIO to ride the waves and live up to their potential. In addition, President Ma also announced the winners of “2023 ZONHONBIO and GENSUNSIO Annual Merit Award”, and carried out the award and recognition ceremony.

In the second agenda, the “Newcomers Forum” and “R&D Department Mid-term Evaluation”, 7 newcomers and 18 representatives reported their R&D project results and management platform upgrading effectiveness. On-site leaders and peers in the question session with the report carried out discussions and academic exchanges, the report was in a strong academic atmosphere. After the report, the Committee held an evaluation meeting, based on the three most critical assessment principles of “innovation, completion, growth”, the final selection of three “2023 Outstanding R&D Newcomers Award” and six “2023 Outstanding R&D Achievement Award” were finally selected after strict and fair comprehensive evaluation, and the awarding ceremony was held at the presentation site.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Wang Yaofang, Chairman of the Board, made a speech. Chairman Wang pointed out in his speech that the future development direction of China's pharmaceutical industry is to insist on continuous innovation, and he hoped that we can take innovation as our responsibility, continue to adhere to the road of innovation and research and development of specialties, and continue to move forward to become a better version of ourselves.
