August 25, 2026 marked the 15th anniversary of ZonhonBio's founding. On September 4, the " Zonhonbio & Gensunbio R&D Achievements Report Conference & Mid-Year Assessment " was successfully held in ZonhonBio's multifunctional hall. All employees of Zonhonbio & Gensunbio gathered to celebrate the company’s anniversary through academic exchanges and presentations. Senior leaders from regulatory authorities, executives from Qianhong Group, and industry peers who have long supported Zonhonbio also attended the event.

The ceremony opened with Dean Ma Yong expressing sincere gratitude to all employees for their dedication and to board members and partners for their ongoing guidance. On the occasion of ZonhonBio's 15th birthday, Dean Ma released the 2026 development keyword—"If Not Me, Then Who"—in his anniversary speech. This year marks the opening year of the "Zonhonbio’s Third Five-Year Plan" and the "Gensunbio Second Five-Year Plan." Dean Ma called on all employees to take initiative, shoulder responsibilities, and fulfill their duties with dedication, emphasizing the need for a strong sense of crisis, urgency, mission, and responsibility—pressing forward even when the path is difficult, and striving to catch up. Dean Ma stressed the importance of maintaining a clinical-value-oriented approach, deepening research into disease mechanisms and novel drug mechanisms, implementing the AI-empowered biopharmaceutical strategy, focusing on unmet clinical needs, and achieving the leap from "designing molecules" to "understanding life," and from FIC (First-in-Class) to FID (First-in-Disease).

Subsequently, in the "Zonhonbio & Gensunbio Meritorious Service Award" recognition segment, Dean Ma presented awards to employees who have stood firm in their respective positions and weathered challenges together with Zonhonbio & Gensunbio.

The conference then proceeded to its second agenda item. In the "New Talent Forum" and "Mid-Year R&D Assessment," four new R&D members and twenty-one representatives from R&D teams and management departments reported on the progress of their respective R&D projects and the achievements in management platform development. During the exchange session, attending guest leaders engaged in inspiring interactive discussions with the presenters, exploring the reported content from multiple dimensions. The entire conference was imbued with a strong academic atmosphere, where different perspectives intertwined and collided, with academic rigor and critical thinking complementing each other. Following the presentations, the Zonhonbio and Gensunbio Outstanding R&D Achievement Evaluation Committee convened to review submissions, focusing on key indicators such as the ability to tackle technical difficulties and solve problems, professionalism, compliance, and completion level. After rigorous evaluations, the committee awarded: two “2026 Outstanding R&D Newcomer Awards” and six “2026 Outstanding R&D Achievement Awards”. A formal award ceremony was held to honor the winners.

At the conclusion of the conference, Chairman Wang Yaofang delivered a closing speech. He fully affirmed the innovative spirit of the Zonhonbio & Gensunbio R&D team in striving for excellence and their continuous breakthroughs in scientific research and project achievements, expressing high recognition for the company's sustained dedication and steady progress in the field of innovative drug R&D. Meanwhile, he noted that exploratory efforts in AI-empowered drug R&D have already yielded initial results, urging everyone to continue striving and to produce more innovative research achievements that combine both clinical value and market value, so as to realize, at an early date, a modern biopharmaceutical industry-academia-research integrated enterprise with sound economic returns, peer respect, and its own distinctive characteristics.

Fifteen years of innovative dedication, and the new journey ahead is both arduous and promising. Amid the host's heartfelt remarks and the prolonged, resounding applause of the entire audience, the 2026 Zonhonbio & Gensunbio 15th Anniversary Celebration came to a successful close, and all members shared a fulfilling and extraordinary commemorative day together.
